Wall of Dedication
Through its Wall of Dedication, the Mayfield Central School District honors people who have made a significant contribution to the children of the Mayfield community. Each school year, nominations for the honor are accepted through June 1, and inductions take place in the fall.
Eligible recipients include:

Current or former district employees,
-
Current or former district volunteers,
-
Alumni, or
-
Community members.
Past recipients have been chosen for:
-
Making a significant contribution benefitting the youth of our community,
-
Going above and beyond what is ordinary,
-
Being a positive role model for our youth, and
-
Demonstrating a high level of conscientiousness and caring for others.
Wall of Dedication News
Four inductees to be added to Mayfield Wall of Dedication
August 15, 2011 The Mayfield School District’s Wall of Dedication committee will unveil 4 plaques at its ceremony on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 beginning at 7:00 pm in the Auditorium located in the High School at 27 School Street. This ceremony is open to the public and begins with comments from family and friends honoring each of the 4 inductees, namely, Herbert McLain, Jack Sanford, Jennifer Shaad-Derby and Chris Mraz. The plaques will display a photo of the inductee and will describe their contributions to the district. Refreshments will be served in the cafeteria following the ceremony.
