Mayfield welcomes hypnotist/comedian

Hypnotist Peter J. Mamos brings his act to the Mayfield High School auditorium at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22. During his show, Mamos combines elements of comedy, music and hypnosis. And there’s no shortage of audience participation.

According to his website, Mamos – who lives in New England – discovered stage hypnosis while attending Syracuse University and attained his certification in hypnotherapy from the American Board of Hypnotherapy in 1996. He has performed more than a thousand shows across the country for educational institutions, corporate functions, and private events.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students/seniors before the show, and $10 and $8 at the door. For more information, call 661-8200.
