Three school districts and Fulton county seeking back taxes from Regulating District in county Supreme Court

On March 9, 2011, the Northville Central School District, Broadalbin-Perth Central School District, Mayfield Central School District, and County of Fulton, commenced a special proceeding against the State of New York and the Hudson River Black River Regulating District in Fulton County Supreme Court.

The nature of the proceeding seeks to compel the State of New York and the Hudson River Black River Regulating District to pay $3,132,774.78 in back owed real property taxes and penalties from the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 tax years, on real property owned by the State of New York, and located in Fulton County.
