Elementary Learning Packet Pickup is Monday, June 1

The next scheduled learning packet pickup for pre-K through third grade students (and other students who have requested paper packets) is Monday, June 1 at the front of the Elementary School. 

Packets will be prepared by teachers on Wednesday May 27 and Thursday, May 28, allowing them to be quarantined for 72 hours before distribution, which is the recommendation of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Fulton County Department of Health.

Paperwork drop off. At this pickup, families should drop off all paper work completed through June 1. Teachers will be using this information for the final report card. This does not apply to students who submit work through Google Classroom, Class Dojo or another platform. Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you are uncertain about whether to drop off your child’s work. 

Returning library books. Library books will continue to be collected Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – noon  in the receptacle marked “library books” at the front of the elementary school building.

Return of Chromebooks and musical instruments. Please do not drop off Chromebook or music instruments on June 1. They will be collected on Tuesday, June 16 (more information to follow.)

Please note the following:

When you pull up to the front of the building, do not open your car window to give your child’s name. Please have your child’s name and teacher’s name written on a piece of paper to display to the employee assisting you.

Drop off of student work for teachers:

Once you are parked, place work you are dropping off on the ground outside of your vehicle.

You will have two options for delivery of materials to your car:

    • We will leave the materials outside of your vehicle, step away and then you will need to gather the materials, or; 
    • You can open your trunk and we will place the materials in the trunk.

  • Last names A-I —9-10 a.m. 
  • Last names J-R —10-11 a.m.
  • Last names S-Z — 11 a.m.-noon
