Jr./Sr. High School students “stuff a bus” to help needy children in the area

Grades 7 and 8 students “stuffed the bus” with dozens of unwrapped toys as part of a fundraiser for the Salvation Army of Fulton and Montgomery Counties. These toys will be distributed to needy children in the area.

Jessica Romano, a parent of a grade 7 student, helped organize this event, noting that students at the elementary school had sponsored a “stuff the sleigh” event for years.

Matt Lewis, assistant principal at the Jr./Sr. High School, noted that this effort began on November 20 – less than a week ago! “It really took off,” he said. The event was promoted on the announcements and website for the week before the hand-off of the toys to the Salvation Army.
