Having been on the field since pre-k, Madison is a four-year varsity soccer player at Mayfield, racking up 70 career games, 23 career goals, 27 career assists, and earning 1st Team WAC honors as a senior this season.

But it’s not only her talents in soccer that make Madison an ideal student athlete. She is a true multi-sport standout, in addition to being a four-year starter in soccer, she has been a three-year starter in basketball, and an individual powerhouse on Mayfield’s track team, consistently being a top point-scorer across multiple events. In addition to her athletic success, she has maintained a 94 GPA while achieving a rank of ninth in the Class of 2026.

Madison admits that when she’s having a good time on the field is when her true colors shine. Her best games often happen when she allows herself to let go of the stress and remember it’s just a game and she’s there to have fun. She credits her success on the field to strong friendships with her teammates, continual guidance from her coach, Brian Moore, and support from her parents who have always pushed her to do her best.

Coach Moore shared words about Madison’s time and impact on the team.

“Maddy embraces the vital qualities of a leader and a role model,” said Moore. “She always remains positive and supportive of her teammates. She has also been chosen as this year’s recipient of the Coaches Award.”

As for what’s next, Madison plans to bring the exact amount of precision and hard work to this next chapter of her life. Chosen for its small school size and teacher to student ratio, she’s eager to start her college career and join a new team at SUNY Polytechnic Institute.

“I’m really looking forward to joining the new team and building a powerful bond with my teammates,” said Madision. “I’m excited to make new memories and keep having fun on the field.”

At SUNY Polytechnic Institute, Madison will major in biology with a long-term goal of becoming an orthodontist. Mayfield Central School District is proud to have her represent the district at the next level.
