Mayfield Central School District is seeking a certified Athletic Trainer to support the health and safety of student-athletes across all sports programs. This position involves injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation.
Start Date: September 1, 2025
Schedule: As needed, request schedule from Athletic Director.

Salary: Hourly, based on experience and certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site injury prevention, first aid, and emergency care during athletic events
- Evaluate and treat sports-related injuries
- Design and oversee rehabilitation programs for injured athletes
- Maintain accurate records of injuries and treatments
- Communicate with coaches, parents, and healthcare providers regarding athlete care
- Ensure compliance with school, state, and athletic association health guidelines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Current NATA BOC Certification or related field certification
- State licensure (if required)
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- Previous experience with adolescent athletes preferred
