Speech Therapist/Pathologist
Mayfield Central School District is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Speech Therapist/Pathologist to join our educational team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality speech and language services to students with communication disorders, collaborate with educators and families, and contribute to the development of individualized educational programs that support student success.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEPs.
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services.
- Participate in Committee on Special Education (CSE/CPSE) meetings and contribute to the development and review of IEPs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to support student achievement.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
- Comply with all district policies, New York State regulations, and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- New York State Certification as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) or
- New York State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist, as appropriate for schoolbased practice.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required.
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.

Secretary to the Principal
The Mayfield Central School District is seeking a qualified, organized, and detail-oriented individual for the position of Secretary to the Principal. This position provides confidential administrative support and plays a key role in the daily operations of the school office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing administrative support to the Principal
- Managing office communications, including phone calls, emails, and correspondence
- Maintaining student and staff records
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
- Assisting with reports, documents, and data entry
- Interacting with students, staff, parents, and the public in a professional manner
- Performing other clerical duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in office technology and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Prior clerical or school office experience preferred

Custodial Worker
Duties include general cleaning to maintain a healthy and pleasant environment, as well as efficient and economical performance of cleaning and occasional minor maintenance tasks. Assisting staff with room needs and other duties are performed by this job category. An individual must be industrious, clean, courteous, and demonstrate common sense in a student-oriented environment.
40-hour work week. 12-month employee.
Salary in accordance with the Mayfield Professional Staff Association Contract. Other terms and conditions of employment as specified by contract with the MPSA.
