Mayfield Athlete Signs Herkimer College Letter of Intent

Congratulations to Alexis Broderick on signing a letter of intent to continue her academic and softball career at Herkimer College.

Three people sit at a table while the middle person signs a letter. Nine softball players stand in two rows while one player signs a letter.

An outstanding athlete known for her hard work and dedication, Alexis has been a competitive player right from the start. She has held the position of varsity catcher since 8th grade and has consistently been the team’s best hitter throughout the course of her career. She has a career .440 average with 70 hits in 159 at bats; 62 RBIs; 53 runs scored; 20 doubles; 4 triples; and 12 home runs. On top of these already impressive stats, she is an outstanding defensive catcher throwing out 26 of 46 stolen base attempts by the other team.

Over the course of her time at Mayfield, Alexis has won numerous awards including Rookie of the Year and has been the team’s MVP the last two seasons. Additionally, she has been a section 2 All-Star the past two seasons.

Congratulations to Alexis on an amazing high school softball career. The Mayfield Athletic Department and entire school community is proud to call her a Panther and wishes her success in her future endeavors.
