Mayfield Central School District is happy to announce the launch of our new Parent Portal – SchoolTool. This all-in-one student information software is designed to meet the unique needs of schools in New York State. SchoolTool is a convenient, user-friendly platform where parents and guardians can check grades, see class schedules and attendance, communicate with teachers, access their student’s records and more.

What does this mean for Mayfield families?
Starting for the 2025-26 school year, SchoolTool will replace eSchool as Mayfield’s Parent Portal. This means families will need to register with SchoolTool to access student information for the upcoming school year.

Please note: Parent and guardian access to eSchool will end on Sept. 30, 2025. Mayfield Central School District will maintain access to these records.

What are the next steps for parents or guardians?
All parents or guardians with students enrolled for the 2025-26 school year will receive a welcome email from SchoolTool. This email will contain a registration link and a randomly generated password for initial registration. After initial registration, parents and guardians will be prompted to change their password.

Yes! This is another convenient feature of SchoolTool. Once initial registration is completed, download the SchoolTool Mobile App by Mindex Technologies, Inc. on a smartphone.

For iOS devices, go to the Apple App Store
For Android devices, go to the Google Play Store.

What if I do not receive my welcome email or need help registering?
Parents and guardians are encouraged to check their spam or junk folders if they do not receive the welcome email in their inbox. Any further questions or concerns about registering with SchoolTool, please contact schooltool@mayfieldcsd.org.

Once registered, if parents or guardians find issues with their student/s information, they should contact the district’s Counseling Center at 518-661-8213.
