Elementary students toss hundreds of toys into the “sleigh”

Mayfield Elementary School students carried their holiday gifts to the assembly, where local firefighters and a state police officer were set to help them stuff the “sleigh,” a van from the Salvation Army of Fulton and Montgomery Counties. As they marched to the “sleigh,” they chanted “stuff the sleigh!”

Principal Katria Hitrick thanked Kendyl Conyne, a grade 3 student in Alexandra Lilley’s class. She brought the Stuff the Sleigh event to Mayfield 2017 when she was a grade 1 student.
