Stuff the Sleigh sends more than 500 toys to area children

On Monday, Dec. 10, Mayfield elementary students brought in more than 500 new, unwrapped toys to be delivered this holiday season to children in Fulton County through the Salvation Army of Fulton County.

The toys were collected and “stuffed” into a sleigh by the students. Student carried their toys outside and dropped them in bags held by the “helpers,” area first responders.

This was a multi agency event involving the NYS Police, Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Ambulance Service of Fulton County, Mayfield Fire Department and Northville Police Department.
